Transdisciplinary Knowledge is knowledge from investigators from different disciplines working jointly to create new conceptual, theoretical, methodological, and translational innovations that integrate and move beyond discipline-specific approaches to address a common problem. Transdisciplinary knowledge is critical to the transformation into a knowledge society that generates, processes, shares and makes available to all members of the society knowledge that may be used to improve the human condition.
This first C.V. Ramamoorthy workshop invites international experts to submit a position paper to address issues related to, and technologies that may enable, transdisciplinary knowledge and society including, but are not limited to:
