Activity Engineering and Positivity Engineering (AEPE)
The pandemic has exposed how volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) the environment around us is today. This uncertainty has sparked the need for solutions for weathering certain headwinds. A real “vaccine” needed now, including boosters, is positivity, which is greatly understudied in AI. The science is nascent at best. Positivity unfortunately does not come automatically for most humans because identifying immediate danger and mitigating threat aids in our survival. When exhausted by stress and caught in negative cognitions and emotions, humans need help generating positivity.

Activity Engineering and Positivity Engineering (AEPE 2022), is an international forum for academia and industries to exchange visions and ideas in the state of the art and practice of Activity Engineering and Positivity Engineering, as well as to identify the emerging topics and define the future of Activity Engineering and Positivity Engineering.
